Obesere’s r*pe scandal movie selling like hot cake [PHOTO]

Fuji artiste, Alhaji Abass Akande, aka Obesere, has finally released a video CD – ‘R*pe Scandal’ to prove his innocence on the rap* allegation levelled against him sometime in February, by one Olanike Olaiya.

Encomium Weekly reports that the CD which contains Obesere’s interview and that of his witness, Bolatito Omo Owo has been selling like hot cake since its release on March 17 – so far, thousands of the CD have been sold.
Explaining why he released the CD, Obesere insisted that he didn’t do the video for monetary reasons.
“I want people, especially my fans, to get a clearer picture of what really happened between myself and Nike Olaiya. Also, the inclusion of Alhaja Bola Omo Owo’s interview in the video is to let the public know that I have nothing to hide.
I am sure everybody can recognize me, but I want people to also see the face of Alhaja Omo Owo so that they will all know she’s not a fake person. R*pe Scandal was produced to explain everything in detail. It wasn’t for monetary reason, but all of a sudden, everybody keeps requesting for a copy.
By now, Nike should just come out and defend herself. Her picture is also on the jacket of the CD. Everybody knows that Papa can never r*pe and that will never happen. I believe that won’t be the first time Nike will be swindling men. It’s God that exposed her. That’s why she is running up and down. Everybody has seen the face of a scammer. Very soon, she would show up or be fished out.” He told the magazine
Reacting to the release of the video on Sunday, March 23, 2014, Olaiya, the alleged r*pe victim said; “let them go ahead with their video CDs. If they like, they should come out with 10 of such, it doesn’t bother me. Very soon, the whole world will know the truth. All I know is that sinners won’t go unpunished. But I thank God I am okay now.”

Olu Maintain shows off his N9.6m wristwatch – Photo

The ‘Yahooze’ crooner, Olumide Adegbolu, popularly known as Olu Maintain,  has disclosed that he spent about $60,000 (N9.6million) on a gold plated wristwatch recently.
The Ibadan based musician said this when an entertainment reporter asked him what his most priced item is and he said it’s his prized wristwatch.
“I have a diamond wristwatch I got for $20,000 in 2009 and another gold plated Rolex wristwatch I bought recently which gulped $26,000.
“The diamond wristwatch is far ahead every other fashion item I have because the carat is quite heavy and the cheapest line of the watch you can get from the jeweller who customized mine presently costs about $60,000,” Olu Maintain reportedly said.
The artiste recently released a video ‘Ennuff Effizzi’ which analyst have said it’s the most expensive video ever done by an African artiste.

Foluke Daramola: My Husband can Marry More than One Wife

Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola seems open to a polygamous marriage.

In an interview with Vanguard, Foluke opens up about her 1st year anniversary with Kayode Salako, how they met and what she loves about him.

When the interviewer asked about reports that he split with his first wife because of her, she gets candid.
“It’s not something I want to discuss, because my husband has told me sternly not to discuss his former marriage on the pages of newspapers. He’s capable of marrying more than one wife if he so wishes, so, I don’t see how or why he has to chase his wife out for me.

Besides, did he chase her or she left of her own volition? or then, should I say the person my ex hubby is married to chased me out of my former home as well? Well, I decided to walk out of my former matrimonial home for personal reasons.

I don’t know much about my hubby’s ex wife’s issue, he is in the best position to talk about that, though, sadists and people that are just out to look for people to join them in their misery will always want to drag my name in what’s not my business and can never be my business.

My hubby is very capable of taking care of his personal business and he is doing that to the best of my knowledge. He has a perfect relationship with his ex and his children and we have a wonderful relationship too,so people should just mind their business and leave us alone.”

“I Did Not Rape Her”! Obesere Speaks Out

It was a rough week for Abass Akande Obesere. The Fuji star was accused of raping a 29-year old business woman, who claims she visited him for help.
After his arrest, he was released on bail. Obesere was invited on MITV‘s Wazobia show to speak on the allegations.

Here is what he said;
“She visited me at home at night and it was too late for her to return to her place. I won’t lie about the fact that we had intimate encounter. But I did not rape her. And it was about four or five days after she visited me that she went to the police to allege that I raped her.
I went to the police station but when when I realized that the officers there were favouring her as a complainant, I requested them to transfer the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba.
There, they asked her for evidence that she was raped. There was no injury on her. Her clothes were intact. When she couldn’t produce evidence, the police advised her not to attempt to blackmail me. They advised her to gently approach me and ask for help if she wanted anything.
When she first called me to say she was feeling sick, I called the woman who introduced her to me to take her to hospital. But Alhaja said nothing was wrong with her, that she was only trying to extort me. Alhaja said she planned to blackmail me into parting with between five and ten million naira.
I can tell you my enemies are behind the allegation. They are trying to bring me down. But they won’t succeed because I’m a child of God, a messenger of God. Once God remains behind me, nobody can bring me down.
I’m a responsible man, a reliable man. But I’m human and therefore fallible. But I’m not losing sleep about this allegation. I’m undeterred and I’m going about my business because I have no doubt that the truth will prevail.”
